Dystopian Alien Cities

Does the dystopian alien city end up only being seen in a wireframe because the pollution makes it impossible to actually see things further than about 20 meters away?

We can do wireframe really well. Of course, to a visual effects person wireframe looks "cheap". That's because it's the first thing they learn to do. But to the audience it looks really cool. I say if it's good enough for John Carpenter, it's good enough for me! ;-)

Oh the things we musts do in order to shoot on a no-budget budget.

Amen. Have you watched the Escape From New York commentary track? Lots of neat low-budget filmmaking tips in there.

  2. I just saw something recently on the making of Escape From New York but I can't think of what it was. But yeah, that's what I was thinking of. You're right, I should watch the whole DVD commentary.

It's supposed to be a hoot!

My lawyer says we have to protect ourselves: note that we're constantly developing screenplays, we probably have a screenplay like what you suggest in development. Furthermore, if you suggest an idea for a screenplay you're giving us that idea.
