Magnolia
My eldest brother, David, planted this Magnolia in his yard in North Carolina. Now, like a triffid, it is growing and readying for the day when Plants Rule the World...
My lawyer says we have to protect ourselves: note that we're constantly developing screenplays, we probably have a screenplay like what you suggest in development. Furthermore, if you suggest an idea for a screenplay you're giving us that idea.
Psh. Plants had their day. They blew it.

ReplyDeleteI will vouch for the hardiness of magnolias. I have one in the front yard that is always threatening to take over the house.
ReplyDeleteI think we had a magnolia tree in my front yard in New Jersey. Which says a lot for their hardiness.
