Off-World


Laura had a meeting with Ray Cannella of the SciFi Channel today. We don't know how that's going to work out, but we learned that the kinds of movies we like to make are called "Off World" pictures. This amuses me. Andre Norton used that term a lot. I'm a big fan. . .

    Does that mean that sci-fi may show the movie? in which case what happens to all the extra nudity you added ;-)

    We have two or three options: they can blur out nudity, we can use the version of scenes without nudity, or they can start a SciFi "late night" where they show nudity.
    But all of that depends on them wanting to buy the movie, of course... ;-)

My lawyer says we have to protect ourselves: note that we're constantly developing screenplays, we probably have a screenplay like what you suggest in development. Furthermore, if you suggest an idea for a screenplay you're giving us that idea.
