Here's a picture of Pushkin the cat and a picture modified with the Sumi-E brush in Photoshop. The jpeg compression on my 600 Treo phone is pretty obnoxious. Luckily, taking it even further with a Photoshop plugin works pretty well.This is him when he's just woken up. He looks pretty gumpy when he's just woken up. I didn't even wake him!
