I thought that Final Cut 7 was supposed to have fixed that annoying thing where it won't let you change the speed of a single clip.

    What do you mean? If you right click on a clip there is an option for change speed

    Yeah, but if it's on, say, the V3 track and you're building a composite with other things on V1 and V2, you can't just change the speed on the clip on V3 or you get some kind of "herp derp" error.

My lawyer says we have to protect ourselves: note that we're constantly developing screenplays, we probably have a screenplay like what you suggest in development. Furthermore, if you suggest an idea for a screenplay you're giving us that idea.
