Advice and Joseph

"Disaster films work pretty much anywhere," Bales says, "But creature films only work in a few territories. In most of Europe, a big giant fish means nothing to them."
Actually, this is a pretty good interview with the Asylum guys. It's impossible to get anyone to write anything sophisticated and un-snarky about the Asylum. But as far as the steps to go to in order to make a mockbuster, it's pretty good.
Here is Joseph Beuerlein being his every-day sexy self. He's an editor on Earthkiller and on Android Insurrection. I was very surreptitious in the taking of this picture.

Apparently we sold out at Amazon.com. But also my distributor tells me they only order like 5 units at a time, but they did make a re-order last week.

  1. Yeah, Amazon is GARBAGE about stocking stuff. You have to keep submitting Stock-Up requests or they'll order 1 at a time, even though I sell 3-8 FOC2s every month.

They keep requesting 1 at a time. It's pretty pathetic, and also they take 55% of the profit which seems pretty high...

  2. Hmm... a giant monopoly that treats independents terribly... interesting... ;-)

  3. Hey, do we have any reviews yet, hilarious or otherwise? I keep searching, and the best I've found is a user review by some dude who dug the scene where someone was shooting zombies with a pistol at the top of the Empire State Building. Huh?

  4. I've been looking too and haven't seen any reviews. And yeah, I saw that "review" by the guy who liked the scene with the guy at the top of the Empire State Building. What a moron, we'd NEVER do anything as tacky as that. We'd only shoot at zombies from the top of the Chrysler Building...

My lawyer says we have to protect ourselves: note that we're constantly developing screenplays, we probably have a screenplay like what you suggest in development. Furthermore, if you suggest an idea for a screenplay you're giving us that idea.
