Full Artificial Intelligence (Supervised)

The audio producer's guide to loudness.

I'm experimenting with Wordpress using this site. I dunno. Maybe?

I used these plans to make a guitar stand. I used all scrap wood I got from a friend and mixed and matched plans. The only thing that is the same size as the original plans is the width and the height.

Guitar stand sans things to keep guitars in place.

I think it will work. One thing I haven't done is made any special yokes for the guitar necks. This is mostly because I felt that some guitars would need more room than others. That may not end up being the case even though the acoustics are obviously wider than the electrics. Right now I'm thinking Pony clamps for each guitar neck. What I'm not gonna do is have any rubber or foam on the thing. Right now the guitars are resting on bare wood, which is better than foam (which eats nitrocellulose finish for breakfast.)

Tim Johnson is the head of the postgraduate education at Thinkspace, where I got my MA, and he has a whole site about his orchestral mixing. He's a very good mixer. I learned to roll off the low end on my reverbs from him.

Our feature The Drowned Girl is on Relay. We're seeing if FilmHub works out for us. Right now we have two arthouse features -- The Drowned Girl and the experimental opera based on a play by Ernst Toller called Red Flag of the Future -- as well as a sci-fi feature Infinite Space, which need some love. So we're working on that.

Experimenting with some things, other DAWs, that sort of thing. Oh look. Blogger doesn't seem to embed Bandcamp links anymore. Aargh. Anyway. Here.
