Aaron Schillinger grooved me to the movie Rubber, which looks simply off the hook.
Eventually I'm going to need one of these Letus shoulder-mounts in order to be able to go from sticks to shoulder-mount quickly, aren't I? Yes. I'm sure I will.
There are a lot of working kilts out there in the world.
I may need to get a red-dot scope. Eergh. It's just for one dang shot but it has to match the scope which... which we don't know where is.

Rubber is pretty, and interesting for like 25 minutes, then it becomes tedious.
A cheaper version of the red dot scope would be make a casing that looks like that and just get one of those $5 laser pointers put it inside.
Or you could move near me, as I have a laser scope for my pistol.
I'll be right over.
Actually, Adorama has scopes for thirty bucks. I wish my paintball gun had rails. Instead we have to tape it on.
I also have some airsoft guns with rails(and 2 have laser scopes on them...it was a pretty cool bonus). Just got that nifty new shotgun bbgun I could mount my laser site too.
Let's just talk about all the cool things I have that I'm not shooting movies with and contrast it to what you don't have but are shooting movies with. Discuss.
The red-dot scope I got from Adorama does not have flip-up caps. So I'm going to have to tape them such that their silhouette looks like they flip up.
Flip up cap? What is that? Now I think we're talking about different things. I'm talking laser sights. I don't know where I got the idea you were talking about that. It could be all the LSD I've been taking.
Red dot. Red dot 'scopes. Uses (as far as I can tell) mostly in "close quarters combat".
I keep shooting reflections of my leading lady in them because I think it's super amusing.
Pictures, indeed, are all at blog.pandoramachine.com
Yeah, I've played COD so I know what they are. I guess my question is why don't you just use a regular site and add the red dot in After Effects? Sounds easy. :)
Yeah, we don't even SEE the red dot in the movie anywhere. Well, not yet at least.
Mostly we use a red-dot because Joe had one and we slapped it on a pistol to make it look cooler.
