Zombie Hag

Mac wrote in a zombie hag for Angry Planet so here's Brian Schiavo's production sketch of one.
We're still looking for an RV or a trailer or something which has a bathroom and in which people can rest when we're shooting in our rock quarry.
I would love some very long rails for our cheap little dolly. I wonder what Chance is using? PVC pipe?
Speaking of Chance, I am one of the privileged few who's seen dailies from Interplanetary. And it really looks amazing.

You know what I need? A
camera kit consisting of a can of compressed air, one of those little hand-blowing air thingies (for using directly on the lens), a screwdriver, q-tips, and a micro-fibre cloth. I should also get a couple UV filters to protect lenses and maybe an ND filter.

We are using PVC pipe for our occasional dolly moves. It's tricky to link pieces together without creating a bump. So all our dolly runs are short.

Your camera kit plan is a solid one -- check out...

...they have all kinds of camera supplies. Don't forget the gaffer tape while you're there.

Definitely get some ND filters -- they'll come in handy for your daylight exteriors. You should be able to get some Tiffen "still photography" NDs pretty cheap.

Thanks for the kind words about the INTERPLANETARY footage. We "fired" our rocket launcher for the first time yesterday. Good times...

We use PVC ourselves. Basically, the "bump" means that we can only do dolly runs of 20 feet. But they're real smooth and easy to set up for those 20 feet.
I'm thinking I might run to Adorama tomorrow to get a couple UV filters and some ND...

q-tips?

You're so demanding . . .

Well, Josh, you know it's nice to have the really solid Q-tips which don't shed their cotton too easily! But it's the canned air which makes you seem really cool on set...
