Day Five Endeth...

I'm so happy with our cast. They are so much fun. There's a lot of positive energy on set and we're making some pretty images and having a good time. I've had them (literally) running around much of today. 

On day 4 we got back to NYC in about 8 hours portal-to-portal (even though one vehicle was late because of... a late actor... ahem). 

Tonight we got back to NYC by 10:30 and we'd had a noon call in NYC. We had too little to do in the first part of the day and too much to do in the later part of the day.

Maduka had his first day on set as Warchild today. He was supposed to have come one day last week but he... er... forgot... Let me tell you, that changed his character's arc! ;-) He choreographed his fight scene with Sherman (Jeff Plunkett) and must've fallen down about 15 times for camera.

I think one of my 50mm lenses is a bit soft. Sometimes the focus doesn't feel "tight" on the ring and I have to rack back and forth a bit to get it right on. It's hard to tell without testing.
