Android Insurrection

The new art has been created.
And that's the overly-handsome Joe Chapman with his very own BFG. We couldn't show his face because his handsomeness would be all distracting.
This makes me think that maybe these big 'bots can fly. Or at least drop from the ceiling some some creepy spiders or something.
Ian Hubert designed the robot (yes, that's the actual robot in the movie).
I don't know exactly who did the art but Ray Haboush at Halcyon was in charge of it.
And yeah, I really wanna see this movie.

I want a poster of that. Who do I have to bribe to get one. Also, my security word is Zantini. I don't know what it is, but you should start drinking them on set

Security word? Is that like the safe word you'll use when you want us to stop spanking you?
You have to bribe ME for a poster... ;-)
I hope Zantini's have pineapple in them...

That looks *very* cool.

But, technically, doesn't android describe robots specifically designed to look human?

Yes, you're absolutely right. But we can't start the title with the word "Robot" because it needs to be at the head of alphabetical lists (no kidding) and actually the insurrection in the picture is about androids, not robots.

Looks very cool. Great art. Re: discussion above - If the lasersword-wielding chick,(with maybe a little torn-clothing/flesh wound revealing circuits) in lieu of the space marine-type, were on there it would read androids are rebelling against the institutional robots, (which may be true?), and is intriguing plot fo sho. bonus - gets you a cute n' sexy lady on the cover. 2 cents. unless you're specifically targeting the Battle: LA crowd, in which case, mission accomplished.

Yeah, we are only tertiarily involved in the artwork. Our sales rep is the art director and they're making art for the market. So whatever they want, they get. I don't know if Battle: LA is the direction nowadays but whatever they think will sell the picture is what they make. Note that markets buying the picture will not necessarily use this art.
