When Blake Snyder (the writer of the brilliant Save the Cat -- get your copy today) wrote to me he referred to me as a "writer". I thought "yeah but OK, I'm not a writer".
Hmm -- even though I've in fact written... (I had to look it up) 4 features I produced.
Part of the reason I don't think I'm a "writer" is that I've only written so that I had something to actually make. And perhaps another part of the reason I don't think myself a writer is that I've only written with writing partners (indeed, the screenplays I have sitting around that are all-but-finished are the ones I haven't thrown at someone else to help work on them.)

Are Violent Video Games Adequately Preparing Children For The Apocalypse?
I see Nikon 85mm f1.4 AI-s lenses for $600 on eBay "buy it now".

I understand what you mean about writing. I've written two feature-length screenplays just 'cause I needed something to shoot.
That said, I'd love to write something for Pandora Machine...
Please do write something for Pandora Machine! ;-)
