Unfortunately NY1 is blasting in every waiting room in the place. I don't understand how people can tolerate having the television on all day long.
At least it's not Fox News. If it were I would be the guy the nurses hate because I would insist that I not be a captive audience to their propaganda.
I've noticed that fewer doctor's offices have Fox blasting at their patients in waiting rooms in the last couple years. The last time I had to tell someone to turn that crap off was at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. The nurse behind the desk was none too happy about it but I figure it's my civic duty to those who are too intimidated to tell them they can't foist that garbage on us.
Anyway, it's a pretty view here at HSS.
