I'm Avoiding Gamma Shift Today

Cinemek makes a 35mm adapter and storyboard software for the iPhone.

How to avoid gamma shift when moving from Final Cut Pro to AfterEffects using the ProRes 4444 codec. Hooray! It's complicated and annoying! Thanks Apple!

Ooh -- bonus! Here's what you do with ProRes 422. We generally export image sequences and only create ProRes 422 files when we export from AfterEffects.

Starting yesterday I like .png sequences. PNG files have lossless compression and are fully cross-platform. Also, unlike .tga and .tif files, they can be seen in most browsers.

So pressing a hundred vinyl LP's is about a thousand bucks, right?
