Neoscene

New, exciting information about Neoscene:

If the "quality" slider isn't pulled all the way over to "High", you won't be able to select any of the ProRes codecs. Thanks! That's intuitive!

Right now, when I bring in files created in Neoscene, it crashes Final Cut. Which is, of course, super awesome.

I've written to the developers. We'll see if they know. Right now we're dead in the water and as far as I can tell the GH1 simply does not work with Final Cut. I know some people have figured out ways around all these issues but it's simply absurd that FCP crashes when Quicktime movies (of any stripe) are brought into the timeline.

Neoscene seems to freeze up on occasion too. And sometimes it claims to have exported a file when in fact it hasn't.

Supposedly Neoscene is the only software which does the pull-down for 23.98 correctly. If it doesn't work, I may have to do something radically different I'm afraid. Wow, this is incredibly frustrating.

Do I need to move over to Voltaic?
